It levels the playing field for everyone, it bring equality to computing. That's a big thing i've loved about it in 25 years of using it now.

Majority New releses oses works in very older hardware. Software installation is very very easy. Linux error is understandable and fixable than windows for end user too. New Kubuntu 24.04 installation is very easy and understanable for beginers.

CUPS. The damn thing just works. I didn't haveto spend ages fighting to find what driver I needed to use my damn printer. It was the first time I ever was able to print something painlessly. -
