     A lot of older manga often came with pages, if not over a dozen pages, of translator notes explaining the Japanese term, it's meaning, and other cultural notes. Dark Horse was well known for doing that. Of course, back then manga and anime was niche and read by people who actually cared.

     @LoliHat @Kyonko802 @rainignterror1080p Del-Rey also did this allot. Their manga often had multiple pages of translation notes in the back of their manga.
