Folks: the reason people haven’t done this <important thing> is because they haven’t heard about it

Me: makes post about it that doesn’t mince words and gets reposted quite a bit, thereby getting more people to hear about it while a boring post wouldn’t

Folks: well, that was a bit harsh, wasn’t it? You should really have posted something bland and boring about it… most people just haven’t heard about it.

You just can’t fucking win with some folks :)
