My questions might be a bit off topic, but I'm curious to start more discussion here. How can normal users be more security and IT conscious? Is the golden rule just to always maintain a robust backup system? What's the protocol for if one determines such an exploit is present on their system? All SSH keys and passwords should be rotated? Does one go through all passwords in a password manager and reset them all? Any good resources on the matter?
