     @ZMAN1337 @thefinn The Australian Government has been pushing to restrict all forms of cryptography to people who have a special license (like ASIO's private contractors), mostly as a direct result of people using VPN's to shitpost about how gay and Jewish our government is and hiding wealth from the ATO in Crypto-Currency.

     They can't trace you coming out of Japan or something. But there's a lot of sites that won't even deal with a vpn. All the IP Addresses have been blocked.

     When Turnbull owned OzEmail I worked for him there as a pre-sales engineer. So if you wanted something more complex than mum and dad style internet - you got put through to me.
     
     I cannot tell you how many people I had to say "No, Australia can't really do that, we don't have the network"
     
     Then this article came out ... I'll see if I can find it ... of this woman in San Francisco she went there to do some project or other she couldn't get done here - no network again.
     
     She found so many Australians going over there, she dropped her idea, and started a consulting business helping AUSTRALIANS start their businesses over in America instead.
     
     We are losing so many people, she found we were a market in and of ourselves.
     
     We never get any tax for any of those ideas, they never pay back hecs, instead the fucking Jew Rupert Murdoch got to keep his little black cable and everyone now pays him for internet instead of foxtel - which was on the way out because of netflix etc.
