i feel like i need to get this off my chest, despite it not bothering me a lot, because i feel annoyed
i've been trying to get a new job, and i've done a few interviews since
it's a tendency of mine to be very honest, which tends to include honest words about my previous work experiences and my preferences which have significantly changed due to becoming more and more jaded by reality
so i probably botched my interview...
they weren't paying more, to be honest, but i just wanted a better job in terms of experience
i don't like talking to others, but i've reached the point where i'd rather learn to communicate and do customer service than deal with manual labor such as back in the kitchen making food all day

@ninja8tyu The trick is less to lie and more to tell convenient half truths. In most cases you're not even going to be talking to people who you actually work with either.
You're trying to sell yourself as a product, market the features that target their needs and trim out anything thats irrelevant.

@supersid333 i suppose, but a lot of the questions kinda prevented me, in a way, from telling many half-truths
when it came down to questions that were basically "how do you handle idiots," if i had no prior experience, i'd probably be able to tell a half-truth, but i wasn't sure between indicating my experience and work ethic or a half-truth pre-prepared
that, and i also forgot how to go about interviews, as it's been a while since i've applied and done them... i kinda summarized it as just, "give them your work experience and describe your triumphs"
unfortunately my life hasn't been triumphant
