@admin @ChristiJunior There's a lot of tension even if Iran doesn't really want a full war. Can they really take the humiliation of Hezbollah getting totally wiped out with nothing more than a token show of force in response? Will Israel stop at Hezbollah, or will they push the US into going for a full invasion and regime change? I think the latter would be catastrophic for the US, and ultimately Israel too.

@ArdainianRight @admin @ChristiJunior We're talking about a race that would rather rule over an irradiated wasteland than accept any slight.
Of course we're going to war.

If the US tries invading Iran, their shock troops get bogged down in the mountainous terrain as aerial bombardment can only do so much, the Iranian people rally around the regime solely to avoid the humiliation of being conquered, and the military very quickly needs to resort to desperate measures due to their manpower shortages. The economy goes to shit even further, Any attempts at conscription backfire horribly. Lots of civil unrest.

@ArdainianRight @admin @ChristiJunior I don't really see any of this going Israel's way; Iran or not. Beyond isolating themselves on the world stage, it isn't even like the war is unanimously supported within Israel itself and as many others have already pointed out, it just feels like Netanyahu gambling and pulling whatever cards he can to stay in power.
The decapitation strikes and the massive barrages of airstrikes may be daunting but that doesn't really do anything about the Hezbollah that are already entrenched and ready; the same would probably be the case with Iran if anyone 'did' want to invade. Airstrikes and Missiles only go so far, they're not some instant win for an invading force. If they were, the Houthis wouldn't still be a thorn in so many people's sides.
And yes, Iran would be a nightmare to invade from the mainland alone, not even talking about the bullet hell any carriers or ships would have to go through to launch a naval invasion.

The Jews are too cocky. They've managed to survive against impossible odds because of the grace of God, but they think it's due to their own greatness. Left or right, their arrogance is setting them up for trouble, as it's done many times before.

@ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @admin Israel hasn't really had a proper conflict with another power that's on the same level as them in quite some time. The last twenty years have basically just been shooting at a bunch of Palestinian Insurgents; and the last time they went against Hezbollah they didn't fare too well. I like planes too, Bibi; but they aren't going to win you a war bro lmfao
