@matana did the statues of mermaids featuring full frontal nudity share the same exhibition space with other works of art featuring graphic depictions of sexual intercourse? Could a child wander from seeing a naked sculpture to seeing a loli getting gangbanged all within the same place?

@matana the subject matter itself is not disagreeable, certainly not a bannable offense or warrants deletion. The content has not been forcefully changed with mosaics/bars. On other platforms such as pixiv, content marked sensitive requires viewers to log in with an account to even see it, limiting overall reach. Yet baraag requires a simple click-through, the smallest inconvenience even for content we may disagree on what is explicit and what is not in order to comply with age restriction laws.

@matana I understand how you feel, that having your post marked as sensitive against your will is tantamount to censorship. It is changing the way it was originally published even if the art itself has not been changed. But baraag being an adult website means I need to act safer than sorry with regard to what is to be considered “sensitive” in context with the entire community. In the US, 19 states have already enacted age verification laws against porn platforms. There is a target on our backs.

@satori not too long ago this entire space had nsfw flagging as recommendation instead of a rule, and while I agree that proper tagging should be in place, I always proper tag: that's why false flagging non-explicit content by mods is even more upsetting
the rules also clearly say "explicit nsfw", why flag a clothed figure? and do I have a free pass to report any male titty?
(in a way I already did limit access by opting out of search engines, so I doubt that anyone will come from the outside)

I truly understand the frustration behind what you perceive as a false flag against clothed pinups. Do you feel that the latest figure I boosted by cheez is falsely flagged?
As for the double standard of not moderating male titty, I have no defense for the social construct that allows a shirtless man to jog outside but not a woman except that we live by arbitrary rules.
