The edit itself since some time was spent on it. Originally was going to do Chaos GF for thematic reasons, but I do not have any artistic skill and drawing Garland's helmet would've been the death of me (I didn't even draw Princess Sarah's headdress).
@beardalaxy@Immahnoob Combat's good, but so is the plot and a good amount of the music. Hardly a one saving grace, the only big issues the game has are performance and some level design. Feels like a game from the PS2 era of games where devs would actually experiment and make things they loved and really wanted to make over modern day profit focus.
@Immahnoob So many good frames in this video, but this one is a favorite. The double entendre of chaos for this specific joke and the fact it's probably one of the easiest castlevania bosses ever.
@Ronnie21093@Immahnoob@beardalaxy Yeah you can play almost the entire game 3 player co-op. You're mostly only forced out of the party very rarely for occasional cutscenes in the castle that last only a few minutes at most. Multiplayer can be really fun, it's how I played the whole game originally (using an exploit in epic games store that let pirated copies go online, though there's definitely 0 players still using the EGS version). Does a little damage to game balance though since you get some revives, but the difficulty kinda seems like it was made with coop in mind at times.
@Ronnie21093@Immahnoob@beardalaxy Well worth the time if you like Final Fantasy or action RPGs. Sadly suffers the Squeenix curse of mediocre sale prices (you'd think they'd discount it more for a game that didn't really sell well and wasn't even developed by them, but 50% off all parts is still decent), but if you've got the money or are simply willing to sail the seas and ditch the multiplayer.
