@silverpill despite having the files where they should be (as in, i moved the stuff from the original folder where mitra's media was to the new place) i still have broken old posts and broken emojis. Any idea of how can I fix this?

If image is not displayed, that means file is not present, or was somehow corrupted. You can verify this using browser developer tools - server responds with 404 if file doesn't exist.
The text shouldn't be distorted when it happens, though. Could you give me a link to that post?

is there a way to invalidate that data? is deleting the files completely enough for mitra to redownload them?
