If FFXIV had gil hold real world value like runescape the game would be innundated with even more third world shithole residents, gold spambots, gil farming and shitters fucking up the game.
   
   Video games are "faggot timewastes" at their core, so trying to turn them into something else is fundamentally flawed. They are works of entertainment and escapism made by artists and autists. Not tools to collapse global finance. You are buying into a fad ran by people who don't care about gaming.
   
   And if you actually think finance and the people who run it cannot adapt to crypto you are delusional.

     @RatPoster typical ignorant american take of someone who hasn't been to any countries yet. the world is a big place i dare you to go see more of it. everyone with money is moving to the third world to escape he insanity of the west. ffxiv game is already fucked. rock the boat. those "third worlders" from argentina and brazil are often based in my experience and i prefer them over the western faggots who play for their precious story. fuck their story. I hope it dies and every legacy DEI game developer becomes unemployed. crypto gaming or die.
