Example of the kind of guy I was talking about:
Opens an eatery, expands it, and knows the fastest way to keep up with each location is to fly himself between them. Then the plane allows him to pursue hobbies.

@DemonSixOne This guy got the best one, too. Pilatus is excellent, even if it’s a little ugly. THe caravan has the brand as the go-anywhere turboprop, but the Pilatus could give it a run for its money in about 95% of the missions they’re used for. Faster, sleeker, only downside is that it’s harder to load, no giant cargo door without a lot of special work FWIR
@DemonSixOne Not to mention avoiding TSA and all.
TBM’s are really cool, but dammit they’re compact. They feel a lot smaller in the inside than the rest, kind of a testament to their Mooney genes. The pilatus is spacious, open compared to the competition. Well, aside from the caravan, but TBH nobody really cross-shops those. They’re too unsexy, and the whole offroad, bush plane thing is generally a waste unless you’re flying in alaska or africa.
