@arstechnica Cars should never, ever, have a "web portal", let alone one through whihc you can access the engine. Any system can be hacked and if it's connected to a network, it can be hacked through that network.
aside from the fact that this should not be "connected" anyway ...
.. isn't it a standard design principle that you need 2 vulnerabilities to be exploited before something serious can happen ?
