   this is the moment I stopped thinking of America as a contiguous country that I live in. I live in the red parts of America and even though there's no passport requirement or border checks, going to the blue parts is just pointlessly risky.
   
   on the left: a murderer got life? sounds good to me lol
   on the right: this entire country is a lie and its law enforcement is partisan and corrupt.
   
   This is the kind of larger response to a trial's results that people only think about when the threat is that black people might riot.
