The winning teams overcame huge challenges through creativity and persistence, and they inspire us to think more ambitiously about the technology and breakthroughs that will be possible in our lifetimes."

     @ScienceDesk @Gizmodo Our local recycler won't even recycle glass claiming it's not cost effective. Also, it's well reported that no more than 50% of plastics are actually recycled and simply go to landfills due to exorbitant costs of separating mixed materials. And I'm constantly pulling my wife's cold brew plastic containers out of the garbage when she knows we recycle--possibly the fundamental problem with recycling in America.
