     @LouisConde It's easy to focus on the nigger shit for obvious reasons, but what really pisses me off about these live action remakes is that they literally remake the same movie shot for shot, just with shitty CGI and shitty acting. They're the most cynical, soulless commercial products to ever come out of Hollywood and that's saying a lot.
     
     The original Disney Little Mermaid was already a creative and original retelling of a 19th century children's book, and now unintelligent, creatively and morally bankrupt millennials just do the same fucking thing with the exact same characters and plot and showtunes. No child in any generation is going to prefer these movies over the animated classics, I think these movies are made exclusively for fat stupid housewives.

     @Ripsnort I agree but I think everyone gets that Disney is being exceedingly lazy. There's plenty of fairy tales they could adapt but won't, as that would be too "eurocentric" or whatever. Disney has been creatively bankrupt for the past 20 years and has been leeching off of Pixar for all this time.

     @LouisConde Which is honestly bizarre to me because one of the last original Disney franchises that was an international megahit was the extremely eurocentric Frozen, precisely because it was so white (I think most fans are willing to admit it was quite mediocre by now.)
     
     Cue Frozen 2 several years later with their forced nigger integration and for some mysterious reason it bombs with the global market.

     @Ripsnort I think Frozen can be explained because my understanding is the project was in development hell for decades and Disney decided they were going to finally wrap it up, so the origins of the project preceded anyone who is currently an executive at Disney today.
