Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 02:20:34 JST Boomerman @johnbudd1350 What if the fed hiked rates to kill the nonsensical money sink that is "tech" so they can free all that liquidity for war? -

Simplest explanation is they hiked rates bc too drunk on their economic theories and all recent inflationary cycles were bc monetary expansion, not bc energy/supply chain, so it worked. The FED is a cargo cult -
Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 02:20:34 JST Boomerman @MechaSilvio @johnbudd1350 Ive been saying for a while they need liquid cash and not asset value. This frees up cash. And the fed can absolutely make that happen -

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 02:38:41 JST Boomerman @MechaSilvio @johnbudd1350 Pretty sure there was a bank crisis right before the civil war too. And vietnam too. The banks always have a whoopsie right before a war (the bankers of course stay rich) and weve been told for decades that ww2 saved Americas economy. I mean its not like they havent seeded this narrative for years. War=good economy. If economy bad do war to fix. -
Louis Condé (louisconde@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 02:38:41 JST Louis Condé @Boomerman @MechaSilvio @johnbudd1350 There wasn't a banking crisis prior to Vietnam, if anything it's a counterargument against War Keynesianism because the 1970s was in large part the result of the war spending. Louis Condé (louisconde@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 02:46:43 JST Louis Condé @DW2 @Boomerman @MechaSilvio @johnbudd1350 It doesn't make sense because the Anglo-American establishment had a schizophrenic worldview about their role in partitioning the French and British colonial empires with the Soviet bloc. I know, my first real bankster job was for what used to be the bank of Indochina, which as you can deduce from the name has a …checkered past… and the Viet commies still chose working with greedy pillaging colonist bankers over being in the same room with friendly anti-colonial US state department officials ^^

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:42 JST Boomerman @doctorsex @NotImportant @johnbudd1350 There is zero difference between banks and government 2008 proved it. That's my point. Its going to the banks they want and no longer in the hands of cat ladies. -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:42 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. Zero difference as in being on the same page or zero difference in regards to being the same entity? Because those are very different things. And if it were for consolidation, I would expect there to be more than just a couple shutdowns and the money wouldn't be going to banks, they would be going to the government. -
NotImportant (notimportant@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:43 JST NotImportant @Boomerman @johnbudd1350 I know it doesn't disappear, it's just extremely convoluted way of moving the money for war. Especially if it does hurt the economy system that helps brought up future military ventures. -
Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:43 JST Boomerman @NotImportant @johnbudd1350 Because it was in the hands of worthless silicon valley tech nerds. They need it in the hands of people who can make war happen. -
Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. (doctorsex@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:43 JST Dr. Sex, Ph.d, Esq. The government doesn't come in and seize assets when this stuff happens though. They take a cut, but what usually happens is they get bought out in a forced sale to a larger bank. If this was about wealth transfer to the government they wouldn't have just shuttered a handful of regional banks, especially ones invested in fintech. -
Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:44 JST Boomerman @NotImportant @johnbudd1350 It not going to the government its going to other banks in the form of cash spendable liquid cash the kind you need to send too ukraine and doesnt require more printing. The money spent on those MBS didnt go away it exists somewhere. -
NotImportant (notimportant@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:44 JST NotImportant @Boomerman @johnbudd1350 I just don't get how that gets from those banks to the government so they can spend it on war, especially if there is a run on those banks that causes them to lose those funds. -
Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:44 JST Boomerman @NotImportant @johnbudd1350 The banks and government arent separate entities. Those securities were bought by a bank with USD by SVB now they dont get the dollars they put in nor the returns. those dollars didnt disappear though theyre in an account somewhere. You get that right? Money that was technically SVBs now belongs to someone else. We dont entirely know who. -

Boomerman (boomerman@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:45 JST Boomerman @NotImportant @johnbudd1350 Theyre turning assets into spendable cash. You cant fund a war with MBS is SVB you can with USDs now being yanked out of the asset market. -
NotImportant (notimportant@poa.st)'s status on Tuesday, 14-Mar-2023 04:04:45 JST NotImportant @Boomerman @johnbudd1350 But how does that money go from those failed MBS's to the government's pocket? -

In other words, if it were consolidation, you would expect to see, well, consolidation. And to your point about using the money for war, there just would be better targets for that than just SVB and whatever that one from new york is called.
