It's Israel that's being fkd right now. Hezbollah effectively blocked the entire Northern District of Israel. Forcing +60k civilians to become refugees in their own country paid for by the government, shutting down all associated businesses and income. Not to mention the virtual loss of territory. Meanwhile most of the Israeli military stays stuck in Gaza, hunting tunnel fighters, where Hamas made great sacrifices to achieve this situation.
From the Jerusalem Post
>Hezbollah has been allowed to terrorize northern Israel every day for 11 months. All it receives in response is proportional precision airstrikes and some artillery fire. Hezbollah takes some losses but it is not deterred. It is difficult to see now how Israel will get its deterrence back.
>There is intense pressure on Israel not to escalate against Hezbollah. This means that Israel is expected to accept the status quo, keep people evacuated, and allow Hezbollah to attack whenever it wants.
