If you're on Linux, macOS, or similar, there's a simpler way! oathtool does the same 2FA job, right from your terminal, and keeps your info private.      @nixCraft I've very recently migrated all my login info and TOTP to a self-hosted Vaultwarden!
     The only compromise is not having Microsoft notifications, which although I can live without with my own account, it's required for my work account.
