@weaf I wanted to start breaking shit when I heard how many nominations it got.
-
@MeBigbrain @weaf The games had mostly shitty writing too by proto-reddit soyim, not the best of source material to work with. Some people think it was just Bethesda but it goes back to the first two games with the 4th wall breaking and monkey cheese shit, but also the stuff that just isn't well written and doesn't make sense given the setting. Fun to play and interesting setting if you can stomach the bad writing and suspend your disbelief a bit.

@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain Literally who asked
-
@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain My guy 99% of all popular culture is produced by libtards. Use some actual examples for why the writing is bad to prove your point.
-
@weaf @MeBigbrain It's true though and even for New Vegas which is typically the game people call the best of them. The people who wrote for it were brain rotted even back then with the cardboard two dimensional characterization for example of the main factions you get to choose from to get to an ending. I'm sure the show is total dogshit but a lot of people want to pretend the games were written well and they just weren't.

@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain >Caesar is just purely coded BAD GUY with no nuance
>Mr. House is a copy-paste of Andrew Ryan
Did you even play FNV?
-
@weaf @MeBigbrain The writing is bad because in the main it's purely black and white libtardism written by brain rotted midwits who probably watched The History Channel when it was new and have been marinated in ideological slop their entire lives. So for example Caesar in New Vegas is just purely coded BAD GUY STAND IN FOR HITLER with next to zero nuance in the same way the Enclave is in most of the other games. People liked Caesar only because of how poorly the game is written in general in the same way people like things that are "so bad they're good." On the other side there's an obvious coded GOOD GUY faction but in New Vegas they put the shit cherry on top by just about copypasting the Andrew Ryan character from the very jewish Bioshock series as the third major option where I had to look it up to see if they even went as far as to reuse the same voice actor doing that Mid-Atlantic accent (they didn't).
This is all outside of the general sort autism on how a lot of these things in the setting would even work, like logistical autism on how the setting could even work in regards to people actually being able to survive on just the food level, which I was kind of willing to just suspend my disbelief on. Or just the random Burger King Kids Club of racial groups in the setting that also doesn't make sense given a return to tribalism.
The aesthetic of the setting is cool and all and open world games can be enjoyable but the writing is terrible so you have to ignore it to enjoy it mostly as a game because it's hard to get invested in it any deeper than that.

@weaf @gucciloafers 1. The only way someone can see Caesar as Hitler-coded is if they assume the writers are bad and just see everything evil as Hitler. I honestly struggle to think of anything their philosophies have in common besides militarism.
2. This mf has no idea who Howard Hughes is.
-
@weaf @MeBigbrain Yes and the relevant DLC (2nd and to an extent 4th) made it even more clear. Maybe you're just trying to read into things that aren't there or what you want it to be rather than what it actually was.
-
@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain Elaborate on how Caesar is Hitler in Fallout
-
@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain You analysis of the character is as shallow as your skull
-
@MeBigbrain @weaf The only thing the House character had in common with Howard Hughes was because he's some ancient fag living in a pod to survive, but the character itself is a pastiche of boilerplate libtard ideas of rich capitalism man as they uptook via repetition through very jewish kinds of ideology.

@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain >It could have been written better if they had actually explored any kind of dialogue between what he could have had as a goal vs. the opposition and why the ends he was working for could justify the means and create a better outcome to convince the player, but the team working on it were not good writers and/or had zero balls.
The character literally does this when you go meet him in the second act. You need to go back.
-
@weaf @MeBigbrain In the very same way the accusation is slung in the real world, except there in the game the character is just doing all of the bad man trigger word things like slavery and conquest without really much of a justification attached. It could have been written better if they had actually explored any kind of dialogue between what he could have had as a goal vs. the opposition and why the ends he was working for could justify the means and create a better outcome to convince the player, but the team working on it were not good writers and/or had zero balls. So it was slavedriving empire bad man who's thing won't outlast him vs. somewhat corrupt and inept good guy military force.
The people who worked on the game even went out and pandered to early tumblr retards after they released the 2nd DLC because they were accused of the general "cultural appropriation, turning culture into a costume" type gibberish when it came to the quasi-native American seeming tribes, rather than ignoring them or telling them they are retarded. That's the kind of people who worked on the game.

@gucciloafers @MeBigbrain The only thing here that's paper thin is your brain
-
@weaf @MeBigbrain It's at best a paper-thin attempt to. I get it though, you just want to enjoy the product and vibe like people do with a lot of political stuff.
