   I have long failed to organize my computer collection but a big reason for that is that I only collect things that would defy organization.
   If it's normal enough to fit into nicely defined categories, it's too boring for me to collect.

     @clairely_undaunted that's a reasonable method! But I still end up with a big "misc" thanks to all the stuff that's not related to keyboards at all
