   I was explaining that whole "spanish is too archaic, they can't adapt to fast-moving slang so their language is just stilted and plain" to my pet weeb when we talked about it here, she just asked if this is a good example of it:

     @Zettour I think they get enough bleed from english memes, since everything online revolves around our culture. If it's in ours, then it gets shared via diaspora networks stateside

     @hispanicweeb Gimme their new slang then, terms they coined themselves, for their own communities, with the royal spanish academy giving their blessing when they add something to the dictionary.

     Because most of the slang they have is an existing word or term metaphorically used to stand-in for other words. I've never heard of an organic term from a spanish nation, for something that didn't exist before. Every one I see is just an english term vaguely spanialized

     ("spanialized" being made up right now, but something we would get when hearing it aloud. They don't do that)

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Actually the name could be shortened, but they based the name on an old Dragon Ball meme. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I think the "they can't adapt to fast-moving slang so their language is just stilted and plain" thing is fake :Thinker:
