     I love Fedora. I tried a range of flavors, but ran into problems with instability and junk updates. Fedora has proven to be dependable.

     @HankB True, the AMD side of things is much better when it comes to Linux.

     IMO Linux' Achilles Heel, but some distros manage it better than others. I don;t use Fedora regularly but I think it's a solid distro. Glad you found happiness there.

     Debian user here. I'm aware that there are tools to "import" RPMs and I suspect that Fedora has ways to import DEBs, but they probably remain on the edge of the packaging system when it comes to updates (in both directions.)
