   Anybody got a good, underground, classy wine pick in like the $50-80 range? Need to grab a gift to return the favor and I’m not really a drinker. I think these guys would be sophisticated enough to pick up on it if I just give them a reddit pick

     I never drank much wine before I quit alcohol altogether but I remember liking something called "White zinfandel" I think. Some of the red wines were good but many of them were too "dry" for my tastes.
     
     I wish I could help. I've considered trying wine again to see if I'd like it but I never buy any because I think I'd end up wasting it and not drinking it haha.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I only really like the ridiculously sweet stuff like Quady vineyards red and orange moscatos.
     I’ve tried a lot of “good” wines. To my tongue it all tastes like alcoholic vinegar, give me the sweet stuff.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot If you have a good beverage store around, usually you can get good recommendations from whoever stocks the wine dept. they usually know their shit and get asked such questions all the time.

     'The Pict' is pretty good for that price range, haven't tried their Shiraz yet
