This sucks.
Afaik, #Ireland hasn’t announced its plan yet but if it’s anything like before it’ll mirror this but *WITHOUT* the ability to buy a booster shot if you’re not eligible for the free shot.
Meanwhile, they’ve had to destroy €86.5 million worth of unused vaccines.
I’d say the Irish government is run by clowns but clowns don’t mass disable and kill people due to incompetence.

  Ah, looks like we now have details about the autumn #covid19 booster campaign in the UK. Available on the NHS only for those 65 and over, care home residents, those with specific health conditions, and front line health and social care staff. Everyone else will have to pay. Looks like it costs about £100. Which sucks. It beggars belief that some amazing science gave us the tools to mitigate the threat of covid, and we choose not to use them. #CovidIsNotOver https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-55045639
