How many people here are familiar with the concept of the Fourth Turning? Because we've very obviously been in one since at least 2020. Some commentators think that it's been going on since the 2008 financial crash, but it seems now that time period was mostly an extended unraveling drawn out by the abnormal longetivity of Boomer cultural hegemony. I think that's likely a sign of that much harsher and longer crisis period, with more dramatic upheavals, but I could be wrong. The good news, like with all historical cycles, is that this one will pass too, and a new order will be born. I just pray that I'll live long enough to see it.
