     the hardware market is fucked, with component prices not getting cheaper anytime soon.
     couple that with costumers having less and less money to spent, and you get an idea why sony sees no future in hardware development.
     i think thats why for the last year they have been pushing there playstation accounts on pc games to grow there user list on pc.
     essentially its the exact same shit sega did 20 years ago.
     release an overpriced piece of shit to recuperate your looses, then leave the hardware market all together and just sell software.
     hell they even increased the price of the normal ps5.
