@nellie_m @x0 @devinprater @JesseF8693 I think the choice to say number goes back to older pronunciation rules. Because, what if you're using
# and that sign is not part of a hash tag. What we'd probably need are custom pronunciation rules, but how does an sr know to say number instead of hash tag? @x0 would probably have some ideas on this, I'm thinking.
