     @WashedOutGundamPilot @McMongoose there's also a severe shortage of white children to adopt anyways, if you go to adopt they'll try very hard to pawn off a niglet on you.

     @givenup @McMongoose I would accept one if I know the provenance - it has to be to good parents, though. It's like adopting a dog, "nature" is much more important than "nurture" when it's not YOUR nature

     Basically, it would have to be two white kids who get knocked up in HS. That would still be a mess because that kid wouldn't be entitled to the same rights/inheritance as the family though. Lots of resentment, a total powder keg.

     @givenup @McMongoose We know our family tree back until the 3-digit years. I don't want to be the one to break that tradition, to play pretend and say "hey guys I know we've been labradors for 1,200+ years but you all have to play pretend with me and act like this pitbull is every little bit the same as us"

     It's mean, and hurtful, but I'll be cruel to protect the family, even if it's from my own brainworms.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @McMongoose i dunno dude, i'll tell you something tho, my grandpa that just died, he wasn't even related to me, but he left me everything, i loved him, he was my family, my biological grandpa died when i was 1, biological progeny is preferable, but i don't think you should adopt either, because you can't understand hte mindset, anyone who can treat an adopted kid the same as hteir own biological kids if they can even ahve any, should adopt..

     fact that my mom's husband treated me good, and has done a lot for me, helped me a lot in my life, i guess i just have exposure to treating non blood as family and you don't, i can understand it.

     @Eternal_Iratus @givenup @McMongoose I'm glad for you guys, it turned out fine for you all....but I just don't see people giving up well-bred, quality white children around here. If there's a lacking parent, they do what your family did and put you in the hands of extended family, people who love & trust within the clan.

     Just having someone tell us "hey I'm 17 and pregnant and I like your vibe, want to take this damn baby off my hands because I really wanna go to college and get a marketing degree" is about the most optimum realistic scenario....and it's still just red flags all the way through

     @Eternal_Iratus @WashedOutGundamPilot @McMongoose male role models are severely in shortage in the age we live in, and it started when i was a kid and ain't gotten any better, male teachers were few and far between when i was young, but there was something to them that i didn't quite get compared to female teachers.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @Eternal_Iratus @McMongoose i do tend to believe the nature of a person is in their genes, but i also believe there is such a thing as believing in nature vs nuture too much, the actual ratio, is more or less an unknown quantity, it's higher than 50/50 on the side of nature, i will say, i overcome my own issues all thet ime, some days i don't but if you're so hard on nature over nuture, i wanna understand why you yell at people to give up their gaming hobbies then? people who are hardwired to fall into dopamine traps are gonna get trapped.

     Everyone's imperfect, I hate the guy who surrenders to the vice without even dreaming that he'll one day overcome it. We stand to ruin multiple generations if we get too lax and just accept that our vices are okay as a baseline. Even when we're in the worst of our excesses, I want us to remind ourselves that it's not okay, and that we should be better. Because accepting it as the status quo makes it permanent, and begins to spread the rot to others.

     I won't let my sons be as sexually profligate as I am, won't let them think that the things I did are all right. I want to be the worst, most sinful man in either side of 3 generations

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @McMongoose the pastor was my friend and my best friend's dad, also had a crush on his daughter the woman i mentioned above, BUT i went off and on, cuz they were my neighbors when i was like 14 to 18, then i moved out and went as often as i remembered to or w/e it'd be so long between times i'd go that lot of shit would change each time it was kinda wild
