@silverpill i have a lot of stuff in the outgoing queue, which i suspect are what has been causing my federation lag issues. On journalctl i see a lot of times that mitra tries to resend stuff and queues it again but always fails. I've tried blocking the instances in the /etc/hosts file, which I think probably has alleviated the issue for me

But a proper solution would require more work.
