   I know it's symbolic and won't get an answer, but also ... Bandcamp is now the reason I plan to pirate all indie artists too.

     @sjw @djsumdog @shadowferret @siinclaiir @vermin85 Unless you tell the people that make the music, they will not move. (I was worried stuff was gonna change when they got bought.) Mainly, people will not move if that's where their sales come from, which is why most of them sell their shit through Amazon, which apparently provides a larger cut of the revenue.

     Maybe later. They don't seem any less fluoridated ( https://formaviva.com/post/ycja-support-for-ukraine , plus they are behind Cloudflare so I can't upload shit), it's electronic music only (so I can't go buy old punk rock albums, apparently), and I can't use it anyway because "Apply for an Invitation". Anyway, I think piracy is great, which is why I usually dump my tracks here instead of just Bandcamp.

     @sjw @djsumdog @shadowferret @siinclaiir @vermin85 You wanna actually make a dent, build out some self-hosted turnkey solution for selling music. (Make an option for Bitcoin if you want Bitcoin people to promote you for free and buy music for no reason, but musicians that live off their music will not be able to do Bitcoin-only, and wrangling the payment processors is 25% of why Bandcamp; the other 75% is network effect: because all the musicians are there, all the promoters are there, etc.)
