     @Suiglide Honestly, I've never used it so I couldn't say. As far as the currency wars go, I'm a generalist rather than a Maxi of any sort. But I've never managed to get into Lightning, and that's mostly due to my aversion towards transparent chains. I know Lightning offers comparatively better privacy, but I haven't really found the opportunity to get into it so far.

     @Suiglide I'd like o add one comment to this: the Bitcoin Maxis lost me when they claimed "privacy doesn't need to be a Layer 1 Solution". I'm far from an expert, but even I know how easy it is to surveil a transparent blockchain, and combined with other surveillance tools, it becomes a de facto panopticon. Anything less than a ground-floor, day-one, total commitment to privacy in a system is too little for me. Maybe I can learn something more about Lightning to change my mind, but right now that's where my head is at.
