     @arstechnica My last Samsung TV lasted 1 year almost to the day. Then the LEDs burned holes in the light spreader which turned the entire display poop colored.

     @arstechnica still sounds too short. We really need laws to protect consumers from these things going end of life, and becoming a security liability
