snowbreak got mass reported by Chinks and will have to censor a shitton of their skins as a result
I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP I HATE THE CCP
game got mass reported to the CCP so now they are stopping sales for all skins that released prior to 1.7 and censoring some of them
Government argues that since those skins released before the game's rating was bumped to 18+ then they have to be toned down. It's fucked :emoji_seethe:
The one silver lining is that if you already bought the skins then you can keep them and some of the stuff that's getting censored will have a new uncensored version mailed to OG owners. Devs say this supposedly won't affect future content but whether that's true or not remains to be seen.
@Ronnie21093 yeah I saw someone translate this Not sure if yours was MTL but here's what was posted . . .
Here's the translation for MUma's little story after posting that announcement:
In a certain city, there was a street famous for its spicy hot pot. Initially, all the restaurants on this street served the traditional spicy hot pot. However, over time, they began adjusting the spiciness to cater to different tastes, gradually diluting the authentic flavor that made the street famous. This change went unnoticed until one day, a new restaurant opened, offering the original spicy hot pot recipe.
People familiar with true spicy hot pot knew its unique, irreplaceable taste. As the aroma of this new restaurant’s authentic dish spread, it quickly attracted many customers. They realized they missed the original flavor, leading to a surge in the new restaurant's popularity, while other establishments on the street began to struggle.
These struggling restaurants then faced a dilemma. To compete, they needed to improve service quality, which required hiring more staff and investing in training, driving up costs. Meanwhile, the new restaurant offered lower prices—half of what others charged—which made it even more attractive to customers.
Faced with this challenge, the other restaurants had to decide whether to raise their prices, risking the loss of regular customers, or to cut corners, which might further alienate their clientele. The outcome was uncertain, as no one could predict exactly how diners would react.
The story's ending is open-ended, emphasizing that we are all authors of our own stories. Our decisions shape the outcomes, and the pen is always in our hands.
