     linux workaround:
     put this:
     #!/bin/bash
     exec ${@//-steamapp//}
     into a script, save it as 'fix.sh' into the games install directory, make it executable as usual
     set launch options in steam to "./fix.sh %command%"

     @Meemoo @rainignterror1080p After you make the bash script file make sure to enable it as an executeable by right clicking on it and checking the box in properties. Some distros may not need this step

     @rainignterror1080p @Meemoo Mine verified after it failed to launch the first time and then launched, so try verifying files manually and then launching again. I placed the sh just like you did
