     I'm not Christian so idk.
     I guess he just said a very small example.
     But your parents are Christian probably your name is will be relation with your parents religions. < but idk about your name is will be Christian name>
     And most Japanese people don't believe God.
     We married in Church <Christian>
     we gonna die in temple<Buddhism style>. so that example is show the very Japanese culture.
     Well Buddhism and Shinto culture become familiar in Japanese daily life or moral education.
     Then many Japanese are polite.
     Don't steal other people item, Don't crime, Don't be bossy and do violence, don't throw trash in the street, kind to other people.
     Everything is not infinity, having limits.
     Well these things are very buddhism.
     Sadly, I'm not use be shinto and most Japanese are same.
     But I guess same with USA and western, if i had to say we can say "Merry Christmas" and we don't see destroy the temple in here.

     I guess Japan is good than USA and western but it won't be long.
