     @arstechnica I think they missed a golden opportunity; they should have played either Luke's Theme or Yoda's Theme. I mean, they could have played Leia's Theme, but that much have hit it a little too close to the mark, what with the actual impact of BREXIT and all.

     The Imperial March - despite being associated with the evil Empire from Star Wars - is just a part of popular culture. And it's a military march.

     So why not play it? It's neither associated with Germany in general nor with any historical event involving Germany. Just with an imaginary sci-fi empire ... and it's a good march, after all.
