I'd say one of the big issue is that the journos will absolutely go off on the "muh cis white male" whether it's deserved or not, but will absolutely refuse to tell the LGBT community to fuck off when applicable. Like with the Pikamee situation, I bet very little to none of the articles talking about it in the MSM and other big outlets will blame the right people
So in what sense are we talking about, are they not willing to actually blame the group when applicable?

You could try to create your own separate apparatus outside of the mainstream and build steam from there, and use buttcoin to keep the lights on, but it's hard to compete with Polygon which is functionally owned by the US Democratic Party. Ideally, one way to defeat the overarching shitlibbery IMO would be for the web to go back to personal websites, forums and overall smaller communities. This usually prevents Twitter level of consensus craziness
