     @nixCraft No, they're not "racing to take advantage of an industrywide shift into artificial intelligence". If someone told me, "don't worry! We used AI to set up most of your network security so that we only need a single human here instead of an entire team!" I would immediately check to make sure whatever insurance I bought to cover just such a breech was paid up.

     The technology isn't there yet. Any layoff announcements you see that use "AI" to justify themselves are lies. #corporationslie

     There is a big bank that is also reducing customer support jobs, including IT and infosec jobs. The bank CEO and CTO are drinking AI cool aid and want to save money despite making billions in profits. Get ready for the worst possible customer support and data breaches because they are replacing trained staff with AI. It is now a race to the bottom.

     In the USA you've all heard and known about the housing bubble, well this one the Alpha India bubble, will burst so beautifully, that it will be talked about for many decades
