     @Spooke It seems to they roll it out to random people since May. On my laptop the new layout never showed up but on my main PC it suddenly did.

     @Tamamo ngl I suffered through the new youtube layout for 3 months and then suddenly it reverted back to normal.
     
     Thanks for linking this though since now I know what to do when it happens again.

     @Spooke Visual clutter aside. I loathe how the comments are at the side making its a massive pain in the ass to read them.
     Also how dark mode is pitch black instead of the old dark gray. Its very unpleasant on the eyes.

     @Tamamo nah I had it in January 2024 and suffered until april 2024.
     
     The most obnoxious part about the new layout is the fact that you can see the thumbnails at the bottom of the video. It makes it so much more distracting compared to the sidebar.
