     @MK2boogaloo @iwillbite @Loki @lunarised The setting has no gods asides the Godhand, Gut's lack of belief in higher powers is a minor part of his character, TBF the way it's portrayed is both the Inquisition and the Cultists are bad, not one or the other, Griffith isn't a fag IMO, he likes Guts as a friend and a warrior, Gut's growth is a bit more then just being "gentle" it's more accurate to say he's learning to trust again after being betrayed.

     @Loki @iwillbite @lunarised the story involves a guy who started a revenge journey after being betrayed, so far it makes sense, then it's shown just how retarded the manga setting is by making the antagonist path to power feels sympathetic, even though he should've been dead within 20 chapters. The mc is a prick who won't do shit to complete his journey and prefer to just go around with some fagtheistic creatures to some island even though the world is fucked.

The last chapter Miura drew paints this too, he's shown as needing compassion from his comrades.
     
     
     Who sympathize with him? Many people actually, in fedi there are lots of people who would say Griffith is a good guy.

     The manga spent the same amount of time with making Guts and Griffith look cool. Yet it fails at doing that because fundamentally, they both suck ass.
