     @coolboymew I found a cast iron waffle iron made here by a small local foundry (I actually bought a pizzelle iron from this guy many years ago when he first got into casting). the saga concludes with the best ending possible. no import tax, no chinesium iron

     @coolboymew now the only issue i see is the model he is casting is actually for a wood stove, not a gas stove. i might need to improvise something
