   If you don't know about how retarded the German generals were, that's on you. Let me give you one example, Franz Halder, Guderian and von Manstein thought it's a good choice to capture Moscow despite the city holding no strategic value to the war effort. Of course Russia would surrender right? Yeah, just like when Napoleon captured Moscow and Russia bent her knees.
