     @Tamamo He is the creator in the end, and the least control he could exert is to prevent a work from being officially published if he doesn't want that anymore. Nothing wrong with that. He has neither a contract with you nor with anyone else that obligates him, or other people in his position, to keep a work published. That you or others will share his videos here or in other places is a whole other issue.

     He didn't retract permission for an official publishing, nor did he cease offering the work himself. He instead decided to go after other people hosting the work and take them down, despite. This wasn't a matter of "contracts" (which is dumb lolbert bullshit anyway) obligating him to keep the work up, all he had to do was nothing at all. Instead he decided to actively go after others.
     
     This is like if a record company started prosecuting second-hand sales of one of their published albums they didn't want around anymore, it's pure spite.
