     just as a universal rule. anyone with a skin deep view of a war will think this war is pointless. which is why journalist and authors will be wondering to themselves why war is necessary. Anyone with any understanding of the regional politics of the regions will ask themselves why it took so long for the war to start @SuperSnekFriend

     @doublecart @SuperSnekFriend nuclear missile point is mute since the US has silos in Dakota that can strike Russia. The major priority is seizing the most industrial regions of Ukraine which those 4 oblast were before the war

     @Groomschild @SuperSnekFriend Nah I think they are more on the pragmatic side. They will drag on for now, and will probably take the whole ukraine if conditions allow. Russia has nowhere to retreat while uke has the zog.
     
     I think the Russian ideal of 4 oblasts is leaving the rest of ukraine in a rump state status, similar to nato occupied kosovo, if there's ever a ceasefire. Except Russia will not ask for a ceasefire border where nato can erect nuclear missiles.

     @Groomschild @SuperSnekFriend Ukraine had a few gov flips in its history while Russia or Belarus were much more stable. Also Navalny has been revealed as a cuckold whose wife just appears at ngo events and receive CIA fundings with her bull. I would say the attempt to subvert Russia to a fully zog state might be hard, but other risks like balkanization and terrorism (like those from central asia mudslimes) exist.
