     @suquili Because it's a common cultural language. Media looms much larger in the normie mind than reality, it's a shared experience and it's constantly refreshed with reruns, streaming.

     And, as always when we talk about "society", we need to understand that about half of everyone in our lands today are strangers, foreigners who share nothing with us but the most immediate sensations. So it's easier to rally "americans" around star wars than WWII, because only 10% of those living inside the borders had any family engaged in it
