@eff I generally agree with many of the points raised in the text. However, I see a significant problem with the way the text addresses the accusation of apartheid. This accusation is often used strategically to portray Jews as white, which is not accurate. Furthermore, the text downplays the extent to which the phrase "from the river to the sea" is used as a nationalist claim that justifies violence. I can imagine that this criticism might not resonate with those responsible at the EFF.
Every time that Israel acts up like this, a new wave of antisemitism surges, and hate groups gain new recruits.
Given my own heritage, this concerns me greatly. I don't have the luxury of silence.
Netenyahu's genocidal crusade isn't just a repeat of the horrors of the shoah itself, it isn't just a threat to the Palestinian people, or a war crime... It is also a threat to those of Jewish heritage everywhere.
No amount of control over the narrative can change that.
