     @graf Whenever a couple days pass between a “based” (gag) action and a statement like this, I’m confident that it’s the result of management getting involved. Usually takes a few days to come together, even an “urgent” meeting seems to take at LEAST 18 hours to get going

     @graf I know this has been said for literally everything and everyone since the dawn of time but why do people think apologizing or backpedaling will somehow lessen the harassment and bullying from their enemies?      It's management for sure. The thing with vtubers everyone forgot with this and whatever the other girls name is this; they've got "talent agencies" behind them churning out the most marketable e-celeb; and it's wildly successful. Adding to this is the fact that so many indie vtubers aren't good at keeping on a marketable persona, someone in another thread said that the wokes in particular tend to break character a lot to whine about personal issues.
     
     I also heard one of the core PR reasons the MDE show got canned aside from Sam on Twitter was that Sam wouldn't close down the subreddit and make a statement about how he didn't approve of the direction his sub was going in (which was turning batshit crazy at that time). Corporate types only care about money and PR, and nothing else.
