   I want a 100% free software and hardware portable music player. Extra points if it has a podometer and a clock, but it's really secondary.

     @ekaitz_zarraga @deshipu which audio formats does it need to play, and what kind if audio outputs do you need? trrs jack? what impedance? bluetooth?

     @ekaitz_zarraga @mntmn I have a list of requirements for my perfect music player that is like four pages long. I even looked into designing and building it myself for a bit, but audio is scary and I know very little about it from the electronics side of it.

     @deshipu @mntmn I just want it to be able to load files from usb or directly to the sd card and be able to listen to music by album.

     It shouldn't be really difficult to make, but doing it in my free time is an impossible task.
     Adafruit’s Music Maker FeatherWing has almost everything needed to play stuff, so we could dig in the design and replicate it but uuuugh... free time is so scarce...

     @ekaitz_zarraga @deshipu also i recall @jacqueline was working on an audio player, i wonder how that went?
