So I've got this device that says the usual "Warranty void if seal broken" nonsense, and it's like... why did you put this sticker on here?
These haven't been legal in the US (where this thing was made and used) since 1975.

But here's the real thing: This sticker right next to that one says that this thing is not for sale, it's a prototype, for internal use only, no one outside of google should even SEE this thing.
SO WHAT FUCKING WARRANTY ARE WE VOIDING HERE?
yeah I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to have this but that's a completely separate problem from the warranty issue
@foone My guess is that they could just be "Evidence of Tampering" at this point
@foone This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not a device of honor. No good technologies were implemented here. What is in this device is dangerous and repulsive to us.
@the_arto I'm gonna need to put that on my next PCB
@sonick_rnd this isn't even in the top 10 of most-SCP objects I've got in my house/storage unit!
like I've got that nameless VR helmet which might be for mind control, a bunch of mysterious DIY electronics boxes with vaguely named buttons, plenty of stuff that appears to have fallen in from an alternate universe because there's zero hits on google for it, the list goes on and on
@foone Is it SCP object?
